Quality & Testing As one of the natural products industry’s premier manufacturers, NOW owns and operates several manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States and Canada. Both the Bloomingdale and Sparks facilities also house state-of-the-art testing laboratories, where NOW’s quality technicians use the latest analytical instrumentation to perform approximately 16,000 tests on ingredients and finished products each month. Our primary manufacturing facility also contains several in-house laboratories, including gas chromatography, analytical, microbiological, and sensory labs. Our in-house laboratories help us to expedite the testing of raw materials, ingredient samples, and finished products.

Sustainability As a natural products manufacturer NOW is keenly aware of our potential impact on the environment, and we’re committed to responsible stewardship of our planet through the reduction of our carbon footprint and other sustainability initiatives. NOW has recently become a proud partner of Terracycle, a U.S.-based recycling company that takes non-recyclable and hard-to-recycle pre-consumer and post-consumer waste and converts it into finished goods. Currently Terracycle accepts toothpaste tubes and food and supplement pouches from NOW.

Charitable Commitment NOW has enjoyed many good years, but we’ve also seen plenty of lean years, and it’s these times that help us remain grounded and focused on what really matters – helping others. At NOW we’re committed to sharing our blessings and good fortune with others. To this end we give generously based on the needs we see around us, as well as specific, ongoing causes. We give to charities in a direct and efficient manner, and we actively seek charities that are 'self-enabling', or those charities that encourage their recipients and teach them the skills they need to take care of themselves going forward.
